PLANNING PERMISSION FOR NEW LONDON YACHT
Planning permission has been granted for the new Sunborn London, a newly constructed eco-friendly yacht hotel with 225 rooms and extensive leisure and event facilities. The new floating hotel is currently under development, with the planned opening in 2026.
The purpose-built floating hotel will be 134m long with 6 hotel floors and will be located where the current Sunborn London is docked by the main entrance of ExceL London. On board guests will enjoy a contemporary hotel interior and many new innovations to enhance the hotel experience.
The new Sunborn London will be a low carbon hotel, constructed using the next generation of sustainable, energy efficient materials, as well as innovative HVAC design, smart glazing, ultra efficient insulation and heat exchange systems to eliminate the need for fossil fuel energy sources.
